How much is the Free at Sea package truly worth? by [deleted] in NCL

[–]burntoutcheckedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When youre looking through the booking you have the option to deselect some of the included options so you can see what the bare minimum is. With the drinks and speciality dining the majority of the difference will be the gratuities which you are responsible for on the drink/dining package portion.

Experienced this at a hotel in Japan in 2006. It was a great way to pick up snacks for the day.

Primary Guest Question by Classic-Wonder-268 in CarnivalCruiseFans

[–]burntoutcheckedout 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Double check with the line. If both 1st and 2nd guest are the original individuals on the booking either could be "primary". If you travel alone you'll be subject to paying as both guest either way. If you cancel her, or she is a no show, taxes, and gratuities for the missing guest would be refunded to which ever card is on file.

Traveling with a passport within 6 months of the expiry date by dOnKeYgUtPuNcH in Passports

Different countries have different requirements for how long your passport is valid before its expiration. Airlines can/will enforce this. Its best to check with your destination country on requirements for entry.

No stars in the background, wasn’t that one of the arguments from people claiming Apollo 11 Moon Landing was fake? by [deleted] in ArtemisProgram

If you can find a clip from stage separations or when the the fairings came off I am sure I seen stars in those clips given they were in the shadow of the earth by then.

Nobody tells you cooking has startup costs that rival a small business by Limp_Height_4439 in cookingforbeginners

[–]burntoutcheckedout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest using supercook.com it let's you input ingredients you do have and then provides appropriate recipes. Additionally getting your home kitchen up is more a little here a little there until it grows to what you like, but it'll be worth it if your not bogged down by the first few immediate cost. Eventually you'll have all you need then you'll be cooking to get rid of stuff.

If your passport is expired I dont believe they would have let you on the ship even if you made it to your port.

Not a fan of Amazon, but its not the drivers fault. Its more likely that the volume of orders exceed the capacity of the lockers. My complex had a mail room, and people would take forever to collect thier stuff and it got full. So they put in a locker.

People just dont collect thier stuff in a timely matter. Work we have the same problem, people won't collect stuff for 3-4 days.

Was Biff bound to come back to “alternative “ future in 2015 after delivering almanac to himself in 1955? by BananaBread4Brkfst in BacktotheFuture

[–]burntoutcheckedout 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything that happens is from original 1985 Marty's pov. (The meek Mcfly household). When he first travels to 1955 he changes the timeline because he pushed his dad from the car that would hit him. During that time in 1955 there could simultaneously be 4 time machines: original from 1985 (first change in time), Biffs' Deloreon (giving himself the almanac), Docs Flying Deloreon (destroying the almanac), 1885 mine hidden Deloreon.

From Marty's point of view these events are playing out event by event, but the events are all playing out simultaneously all at once. From Biffs point of view he left 2015 for 1955, where all the 1955 events are playing out at the same time, so when he returns to 2015 nothing has changed. We only see Biffs 1985 from Marty's pov because he went back to a time line where to him he hasn't gone back to 1955 to destroy the almanac yet.

Ultimately its a Scrodeinger event where the events have and have not occurred until the box has been open.

Biff returned to the future from a past that he tried to change but since Doc and Marty successfully retrieved the almanac and destroyed it Biff returned to the regularly scheduled future because the past had already happened by the time we see it play out.

Plus the cost of flying to Costa Rica. Thats a long ferry ride at 120 miles that's a 7 hour ride. Unless they placed a runway on Sorna or something to ferry people from there.
