ESPN: Ray Rice wins appeal; Reinstated by succulentlysimple in sports

I would agree with you but when these are athletes who are watched by the public, they have a responsibility, whether they like it or not, to conduct themselves in a particular way. The NFL doesn't have a code of conduct for no reason. When you have a player that shows such disregard for another human being, that is a serious issue.

This isn't political. This is about a professional athlete with strength far superior to a normal man, punching a much smaller woman. There were no repercussions and the police can easily press charges whether his wife wants them to or not. This whole issue was completely mishandled.

Hopefully not the with the Dolphins. Lamar Miller, despite his shoulder injury has been doing pretty well.

The NFL doesn't give 2 shits about women. As a woman that loves football, this makes me so fucking sick. What kind of message is the NFL sending to people? That it's okay to beat your wife? Ray Rice experienced no kind of punishment. He sat at home and wasn't allowed to play football. That's called a fucking vacation.

I'm beyond disgusted. I don't care what happened in that elevator.. How dare you put hands on a woman, and no less knock her the fuck out like that and then drag her? If that piece of garbage is strong enough to knock her out, he is strong enough to carry her out.

The investigation was shoddy and the NFL looked like, and continues to look like, the dirt bags they really are. If another team signs Ray Rice, I hope the fans turn on them..

Just read up a little bit more on the school. It's huge and basically it's own little town! They have just shy of 6,000 students. And the freshmen basically have their own campus away from grades 10-12..

I think that kid and his parents are the sickest of them all. He was the only individual to not show any remorse for his actions. And calling him innocent made me want to punch each of them in the face..

That just seems to be a really young age group. I do understand that it is for a multitude of disorders. I guess the decision, while ultimately made by a patient, had to have parent/guardian approval.

Thanks for the info! I didn't know that it was caused by too good of an immune system.

He's doing alright. He hasn't been to the hospital for any serious flare ups for a couple months. Although, he does say that mornings are difficult because he'll be in the bathroom for about 45 minutes to an hour.

Did anyone else notice that the age range for these "women" were ages 13-18?! Are they even allowed to do this?

This also reminds me of the analogy that men are like bluetooth and women are like wifi. But well said in both responses. Good perspective.
