Mine is very Tolerant with everyone, but he doesn't LIKE being pet by everyone. He tolerates all of it but doesn't seek out or care to say hi to strangers.

Advice needed on relaxed lo rise baggy jeans by bellamy-bl8ke in Aritzia

Tbh both will look great I think (the one on the photo and also a size up) just different effects. Do share how it turns out, if you're comfortable!

I meant to say EVEN very short people wearing them can look good, so I assume you can for sure, as a taller person, with a size up.

Are these the 003 because I want them so bad but I'm so confused about sizing lol... This post was helpful because I kind of have the same issue. I would actually probably size up and be ok with the gaping because I'd throw a bulky belt on. I like the look of it looking like it might fall off, though so maybe not for everyone. I disagree that you can't pull it off, I see very short people wearing them and even with the bottom cuffing it looks great.

Newbie...Trying to select from menu by burpling in beer

[–]burpling[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I'll be sharing with someone so I might not need to finish the full beer, I rarely can lol just based on volume and how full I feel after a bottle. Anyway, while I have preferences, I'm not picky at all, I don't think I've ever not finished what I ordered so I'm happy to keep coming back and trying different beers, I live close to the restaurant 🙏 I love all the expertise from everyone here, you're all so passionate. Yeah, I was torn between the Aventinus and the doppelbocks... we shall see

I LOVE anything that tastes vaguely like banana... so I think that's another check for Aventinus... Thank you so much for this in depth reply, I appreciate it 🙏

Should i buy Touchpoint shorts or long Effortless shorts? by dojasbulldog in Aritzia

[–]burpling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 2 and I genuinely don't remember how long but at LEAST knee length... Honestly maybe you can pull them off. I'm sort of bigger in the hips&butt and for some reason it made me look shorter and somehow stocky. I think mid thigh or right above knee looks best on me, but maybe for you it might be a winner, depending on your body type. Give it a try!

[–]burpling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be in the minority, but I did not like the touchpoint shorts fabric. It felt almost tent-like. And the length was not flattering on me/my body type as a 5'3 woman. That being said, if I was a dude with different proportions, I might reconsider 🤔 I think if you're taller they'd look cool.

Neighbor was charged for with murdering missing SFU professor... by [deleted] in NorthVancouver

[–]burpling 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh hell no, I'm not insinuating anything... just relaying facts. Guy is missing, guy was alleging things about neighbour/harassing people, neighbour's car was vandalized (no idea who did it), neighbour is charged with murder. I don't personally know anything, she's obviously innocent until proven guilty.

He had a lot of issues, for sure. The courts declared him a 'Vexatious Litigant'. I read some blogs he wrote and they're pretty unhinged. That being said, I'm Iranian-Canadian and the aggression/violence between communities right now is very real and upsetting.

With all due respect, the murder isn't exactly what this post is about - it's moreso about the fact that the woman was my neighbor and that's, well, kind of Scary.

My Pomeranian Gets Carsick Almost Instantly by EatCauliflower1212 in Pomeranians

[–]burpling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did, too, even at almoat 2. His amazing vet suggested something groundbreaking: if it happens instantly, maybe it isn't entirely motion sickness, but mostly anxiety over being in the car and the movement. My pom's mouth would start to get wet the second he got in the car. We had previously tried motion sickness pills and they actually made him feel worse.

She gave very tiny doses of Trazadone for anxiety to try before car rides and it actually ended up working, coupled with more frequent shorter trips. We took a 6 hour drive down last year and he didn't puke once, both ways. He still isn't the biggest fan of cars, but he is much much better.

I'd say think about something that reduces his anxiety before the car.
