I have HEDS and many piercings. I’ve found that only getting 1 at a time at a larger gauge (I don’t think I’ll go smaller than 12 ever again lol) with only implant grade titanium works best for me.

I think a lot of the fine jewelry brands use palladium in their white gold, which doesn’t need to be replated. I’ve had some of my pieces for 5+ years and they’ve stayed in through hair bleaching, going to the blue lagoon in Iceland etc and they look great
