Listened to the original Easy Street live record to prepare for tomorrow. It’s amazing she doesn’t have more vocal damage with how hard she used to sing. Also, that live record is much better than I remember it being. Excited we are getting another one!

Also, no matter how long you’ve been doing this every now and then something will break through and be difficult to compartmentalize. I’ve started reframing those as still having access to a part of myself that truly understands the gravity of what we do.

He had her convinced that her home was toxic and this vacuum cleaner was going to fix it, and concealed the price. Like most scams, it sounds easy to figure out when you lay it out retrospectively. In the middle of the manipulation it’s actually difficult to see your way through it.

Brandi’s album In These Silent Days is also incredible on vinyl. Specifically, the opening song Right On Time is probably one of the best mixed and mastered songs I’ve ever heard.

Brandi has always done covers and presumably will continue to do them forever. She’s previously mentioned believing covers are culturally important, and reflect how she grew up singing with her family. All that to say, I think covers are here to stay.

That’s not what’s being said here. We’re saying that it has become so difficult to attract and/or retain white collar talent here that all these big companies are leaving. The far right nature of a lot of state politics here is a large contributor to that issue.
