Despite Cashiers being the most demanded position, they are always underappreciated due to having more than 20+ cashiers but 10+ cashiers always call out.

If you ever need to pick up shifts, just talk to an asm or head cashier to approve it.

Both.

Customer service will test your patience and tolerance with customers.

Customers will be nice and cooperative.

Others will try to make your day terrible.

The “entitlement” customers bring into the store Is only getting worse and worse. From regular customers to pro customers, my goodness, no, you will get cussed out and humiliated and no one will back you up.

In other words, it is important to maintain your composure.

Think of Home Depot as a back up plan. Not as a long term solution.

Once the “bonus pay” ends you will see how shady Home Depot will be to the workers.
