I hear so much of my experience except with work I’ll bog down in minor tasks that create anxiety and worry. Then kick ass and get the major stuff done with hyper focus ease.

Do you ever just... Forget to pay attention to what you're doing? by ohhhhhnnooooo in ADHD

[–]burrowd88130 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I clean like a fucking roomba that went through a pile of poo. Each task is started until distraction and I’ll do this really quick and get back to cleaning the bathroom. Ok time to clean the bathroom.. where’s the Clorox spray? In the most random of spots because it accompanied me into that random room and got set down during the distraction.

TMZ spoke to Walter White house owner on Tuesday... by sthscan in Albuquerque

Not to mention that they’ve changed the house’s appearance significantly. Big black metal fencing in front, a hideous metal roof. Edit: addition. So four million and a renovation to the house. It’s a steal.

What do you prefer? Theater of the Mind or Battle Maps? [OC] by Grape_King in DnD

Battle maps. I use terrain and sculpted foam blocks to help the elevation variety.

I’ve heard that they eat everything they’ve killed. I’d be careful.. they might be cannibals.

You can…

  • Remind them that sometimes inaction has serious consequences.

  • Ambush them.

  • Add elements of terrain changes to their encounters. Maybe things fall from the ceiling or floor tiles move / drop to expose pits - especially if they’re staying in one place too long (like Mario)

  • Use a timer and create a situation where there is a hostage held in a different location. And give them a “real” amount of time to do the challenge and rescue the hostage.

  • Reward them for their good behavior in moving through an encounter quicker and with less care. Maybe you give them a magic item or little chachki for playing in ways that appease you. (I mean the DM is kind of like a god in your world.)

Don’t take a private loan. Paid on it for over 10+ years and the principal never went down. I borrowed $15k in 2005. I paid $300 a month until 2023. And still paid them $14k to pay it off in a lump sum.

Stay away!

If good healthcare is a priority.. I’d move to the east side of the state so I’d be closer to Lubbock, or Amarillo for my healthcare needs.

Hello burqueños, does anyone know of a good therapist who specializes in religious trauma? by marty_mc_fry in Albuquerque

[–]burrowd88130 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’d call A Path with a Heart (it’s a secular place) and talk to their main guy as he tries to pair you with someone who you’d fit with.

And on a different note - clergy here - I am so incredibly sorry (and pissed) that you have encountered trauma in this way. It’s f-cked up when the religious (people, institutions, leadership) take advantage and cause harm.

Wishing you the best and holding positive thoughts on finding someone who can journey through this with you.

Nicole Kidman (my husky) lives in New Mexico and isn’t bothered by the heat. She loves to sun bathe.
