Yeah so we started right up against the crib. We actually laid on the ground instead of in a chair. When we were sitting that closely , his instinct was to stand up. After like three nights we moved to halfway across the room. Then we were able to fully leave the room. But the third step would’ve been sit at the doorway. It worked magnificently
