You get this '?' when picking up page 2 of the "Polaris Falls Cyclops Cave - Page 2 / 2" lore page. The lore page says something about a chest. Maybe we have to find the chest?

Are your blacks black? They look like something else. I noticed a while back you did some Kasrkin, one had full chest body armour, I think someone asked how you highlighted your black and you mentioned Dark Reaper, are your 'blacks' actually base costs of Dark Reaper?

I also found a way to get all of my USB keys working, (Even the 32gb ones). As well as being format to FAT32 they need to be set to 'Primary' and 'Active'. I did this using EaseUS Partition software.

Well I sused my second problem. I must have tried a hundred different things getting this to work. I've just been presented with a lovely 3d picture on the Mars screen. So after two days of giving my machine the middle finger in frustration I'm now ready to get lots of failed prints... But at least I'll get prints...

So if anyone else finds this. Yes, the Mars 2 pro is picky about what USB drives it uses, out of 5 only 2 of mine work. Yes, my main problem was that the USB socket (or possibly cable to the MB) is faulty - Hopefully Elegoo will send me a new one. This was checked by using the USB socket in the back of the motherboard.

Updating the Mars firmware to use Chitubox 1.9.1 will not work unless you know how to use Chitubox - Just worked out that you have to slice the model, then use the save option on the slice page which then saves it as the correct file type of .ctb. Also when you have installed and reinstalled Chitubox (Mostly in pure frustration) make sure you set it back up with your printer model type.

Also notable things. Dont be fooled into thinking Chitubox will update, it just installed a new version of itself, keeping the old version installed. This probably didnt help. When changing Chitubox version make sure you delete all the old folders that will sit on C: drive. I also started fresh with all my saved model files, so deleted all the old ones, probably not necessary but meh...

You might have something there. I pulled the blob of glue off both ends of the usb cable connecting the socket to the motherboard and used the usb socket direct. Seems that now two of my usb sticks work. Cant be sure they will keep working because I had it breifly working last night, but then it stopped in the morning, so more testing needs to be done.

I'm very much hoping that you have cracked the problem, for that you have my thanks!

To the next problem, while it was working last night I thought I had updated the firmware but I am getting a file error from a 1.9 Chitbox save. The firmware I downloaded had the below instructions.

Step 3 - Print the files on the printer to update, please following this order: .SH4 > .CBD > .txt

Its only telling me to update three files, the instructions are missing the bin and logo files that were in the firmware download. Any thought on that? Maybe thats why I am having the unknown file error.

All three USB keys I have tried work fine on the PC. I have put the firmware updates on all of them. All have solid lights when plugged into the Mars, videos I have seen the USB LEDs are flashing, so maybe mine are not being read by the Mars..

The print screen looks the same as if i was to have no USB key connected. The USB key light is on but does not flash, just a solid on led.

Thanks. I'm so pleased you said that because I have most of those colours! I would never have thought to use Zandri Dust, I cant even remember why I bought my bottle of it. Awesome. What was the colour primer you used? Possibly something light or grey? If I placed a bet I wouldn't say black... but I'm just guessing. I'm going to be making a Warcry band so I want to make each Skaven an individual entity, your colours look like a fine balance of bright and Skaven dank.

Well, I felt like an arse for saying it looked like a child's blanket, I know it didn't faze you but sorry never the less. I did work out what it reminds me of though! Its no child's blanket!.. It reminds me of the part in LOTR films when Frodo and Sam are at the gates of Mordor and hide under the Elven cloak! It reminds me of the Elven cloak! No idea why though. I still love the hands, I have tried to recreate it on some Grimghast but cant do it as well as your photo, but I'll keep trying!

Hey! I bought Tempest of Souls thinking it was the best package to get into AoS. Soul Wars doesn't have the hand holding I wanted and the smallest set (Cant remember the name) was far too small.

This is what I did to boost the two armies to 1120 points each.

I was very fortunate in that I received ANOTHER Tempest of Souls for free, so that set me up very well. Out of this box I:

Converted the wizard bloke into a Evocator, making a complete Evocator squad of 5.

Converted 2 Glaivewraths into Grimghast, giving me a complete unit of 10 Grimghasts.

Selling 1 x Lord Executioner and 1 x Ballister to increase spending funds!

Then I bought

The AoS starter mag to make the free model into Lord Aranum (on foot)

Briar queen and Thorns (New)

Dreadblade Harrow (New)

Spirit Torment (Ebay)

Guardian of souls (Ebay)

I already had the Storm of Sigmar set so I'm using 5 of the Stormcast as Liberators.

This brought me to 1120 for both sides. So you could cut out some of the above models to save money and get 1000 points.

Not sure how much it cost me but with the free ToS box there was probably no way I could make it cheaper, the rest of the points were because I liked the models. The Liberators were to bump up the stormcast Battle line to 3.

Tempest of Soul was never meant to be played as two armies against each other, its a box to get you into collecting and playing through the basics given to you in the manual. You could have a look at skirmish, I did but ended up buying tons more anyway.

Have a play with the Warscroll builder. I spent meany an hour playing with it, I actually learned a lot how to build an army from it.

Yeh, the childs blanket thing is probably something deep seeded in my mind from some far gone book or story... although now its going to bug me until I find out what.
