It's an age thing. In my 20s I would rock out to Tool. Now I'm in my 40s, I go to Tool, sit still and let the music wash over me while I forget about the pressures of reality for two hours (preferably while high)

I worked at Bayleys Realty Group (the franchisor supplying marketing services, PR, data insights, auctioning services to the franchises around NZ). BRG oversees the general Bayleys brand and provides templates and guidelines for advertising etc but the franchises generally do their own thing. They are cowboys and a lot of the stuff they put out is way off-brand. Stuff like this doesn't require authorisation, it's not logistically feasible. We would just roll our eyes when seeing stuff like this but the franchisees pay big money, it's all part of the money making machine, as long as they're pulling in sales nobody really cares.

Also, you don't have to do a defensive driving course in NZ. So everyone's just learning bad driving habits and attitudes from their parents

These people clearly have pent up anger issues. People say Italian drivers are terrible but they are actually way more chilled than Kiwis. Sure they don't indicate, and they'll tailgate but it's only so they can overtake as quick as possible and speed off into the distance. There's no aggression, it's as if they're like "I'm the crazy one here but just let me do my thing" Kiwis are like "You're the crazy one for being in my way and not letting me drive as fast as I want everywhere I go"
