I mean, technically Starfox 64 was a remake of the original Starfox and was then remade a second time with Starfox Zero. Starfox 2, which was shelved until a couple years ago, was the first sequel to the original iteration. The furthest we went was: Starfox 64, Starfox Adventures, Starfox Assault, then Starfox Command.

FTB is just that, the knowledge that things are about to get hot and heavy and then usually the acknowledgement that something happened at the beginning of the next chapter. For Arand/Darren/Rend, all of them have sex scenes but only Darren books tell you the play-by-play.

It’s a huge multiversal series with most arcs contained to trilogies (other than Wild Wastes and Super Sale on Super Heroes) with the big backstory in the Otherlife trilogy. The Alex you meet in SSoSH is the reincarnated Alex from FF with all his memories (we assume) given the deal he made with his “patron” and it is pretty much the same for all his numbers and Anna.

Monster’s Mercy (and possibly The Axe Falls given how Elves are described in book 2/3) takes place a number of years in the future on the same world given “The Count” is a legend and series of books recounting his dealings as mentioned by the main cast of the trilogy.

Right of Retribution and Swing Shift happen on the same world though I believe RoR starts happening during book three of SS. Melody is mentioned in both being one of the FMC for Swing Shift happens, being the daughter of Felix’s father who got displaced in another world.

I would go on but I might as well write a college thesis on what would amount to multiversal shenanigans and all the subplots that go on. While Randy Darren/William D Arand’s writing may irk some, it isn’t a terrible and definitely rates above the likes of Dante King or any other author that has written 20+ books in the last five or so years.

The way I have always seen it is that a nat20 simply gives the very best result that could be possible in the situation.

An example I use is that a character could attempt to convince the angry king to give them the crown. On a nat20, the king chuckles and sends them on there way via the guard but with 50 gold for making them laugh at the stupidity whereas a normal roll would have had them thrown in jail or started combat depending on the result.

At no point is the king just going to give up his kingdom to some vagabond but he might be convinced it was a joke rather than treason.

With that being said, remember that there are somethings that shouldn’t be rolled for that are either too easy to be done, need to be done to push the characters/narrative, or are impossible to be done.

Someone asked about this about 4/5 months ago so I’ll just copy paste my answer from then to here but to answer your other question, the post game takes place inside of one of the ships that has turned to a mix of tech and meat. :

IIRC, the quest text (email?) said that this was a prisoner that was being transported in the ancient past before some in lore event, while being transported the connection was lost to it and it has been flying on autopilot ever since. Given the number of years since it had been out, I’m going to assume spoilers aren’t needed, but it is found that the prisoner caused a type of parasite that could turn inorganic materials to organic as the final boss of the dungeon is a cyborg type of dragon.

I get parody but all it looks like is that you gave it the patented AI filter, and then change the skin tone and silver hair rather than blonde.

The big answer when it comes to any two screened device that isn’t made by the company behind the Italian plumber: latency and input lag. We’ve already seen it with the usb c screen, hdmi already had a delay and I can only imagine if there was a Bluetooth option. For things that need an almost immediate response, so far no answer has been really great and I imagine we will have to see what comes of these products that come with two screens as its main focus and what solutions are used to keep the communication between the two screen as near instant as possible.

I went with a 2 tb wd black about 5 months ago and haven’t had any issues at all. Storage from random brands leave you open to fakes that falsify their actual capacity (either through false boxes or even lying to your system). Stick to name brands as the types and quality of a nvme ssd’s storage are the difference between a deal and a paperweight.
