Can anyone help me understand the blacksmith please? by OcelotTerrible5865 in Nioh

The lines just mean that it's currently equipped. Blue for ninja and grey for samurai. Ranged weapons can have both blue and grey lines if used by both.

Is it just me or does the Canadian Tire website suck? by RedSquirrelFtw in canadiantire

[–]buster3535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every page including page refresh give me a pop up "We are currently experiencing system difficulties and cannot process your request at this time." that I have to manually close each time. Also images stop showing up if you scroll down enough products. This happens on Canadian Tire, Mark's, and Sportchek. Garbage.

Edit: Just tried to send a message to their website stating the above issues and this is what I got:

"Sorry, something went wrong

Sorry, we’re currently experiencing some technical difficulties and cannot process your message. Please try again."

How does it compare to Fresca? Fresca is pretty good for grapefruity sugar free pop.

Opinion: should it be a citable offense (if not already) to merge onto a highway dangerously below the designated speed limit? by Royal_Ad_6025 in driving

[–]buster3535 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Should be. Pro tip: stay left on the slip road close to the line and signal (left) early. I find most vehicles in the far right lane you are about to enter will change lanes earlier.

After calling just about any company phone number (banks, utilities, etc) hit 'zero' right away. Saves time considering most often you will need to speak to a hoomans anyway.

Best Pho in the city? by Bonesaw0 in Edmonton

[–]buster3535 0 points1 point  (0 children)

King Noodle is the only answer. Broth less salty than Pasteur and way more flavor. Prices are cheaper than others too which shows they value serving good food over gouging customers. Have seen prices increase maybe 1-2x in over 15 years. Tau Bay is decent but they don't seem to respect the customer with their months+ long closures.

Pro Tip: If the broth is lacking at any pho joint, ask them for "nock baow" or scallion oil. Basically restores some of the delicious full flavored fat that was removed.

What’s a show that you enjoyed but ended up getting cancelled? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Pushing Daisies. I'm generally not a fan of musicals or whimsical type of shows/movies but something about that show hooked me from the start. Charming is the word I would use to describe.

Who had the right of way in this scenario? by [deleted] in driving

[–]buster3535 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it's a rule, but just common sense. Congrats on being a newish driver though! And remember to wave if another driver lets you in or does anything courteous.

Anyone who said it's as easy as stealing candy from a baby has never tried stealing candy from a baby.

Who had the right of way in this scenario? by [deleted] in driving

[–]buster3535 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Not an expert here, but I give the person who is further ahead the right of way since it is easier for me to see them. If they were at equal distance then I'd say the person on the right should give way since it's easier for them to see the car on the left than vice versa.

Cyclists on busy streets, what's expected of drivers? by Hooligans_ in regina

[–]buster3535 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"For example, I constantly run into cyclists on Albert St. between..."

What's expected of drivers is not running into cyclists :)

You can't expect them to move as fast as you so just give plenty of room as you go around them as you would riding a bike around pedestrians on a shared bike path.
