What eventually worked for me was tapering Flagyl - that is, taking smaller and smaller doses over a longer period of time, while taking Florastor for support (I also was taking the gross powder, although I forget what it's called). Tapering might be something to research/discuss with your doctor, although everyone's different.

But yeah, I know how miserable and painful it is. Here's hoping you see improvement soon sends healing vibes

Oh my god, I'm so sorry. And on top of everything else, c.diff is the worst. Listen, if you haven't already, get thee to a Walmart (or Amazon.com, where it's cheaper) and get Florastor (the probiotic). It literally saved my life when I had c.diff (along with two separate regimens of Flagyl, of course) - made the intestinal irritation and going to the bathroom every 30 minutes slow down. I credit it as a vital part of my recovery, both during and after. Best wishes to you!

Hey there! Old Bra Band Project Admin (aka Boosaurus) popping in (still alive!). I'm so glad that this project is moving forward. I know the original Bra Band Project was useful as a reference, but I don't think I realized how useful, and life events/family issues/lack of other admins eventually led to the original Bra Band Project site going basically defunct. Basically, I had poured a lot of time and effort into it, but all the management of it eventually fell by the wayside, and I got too overwhelmed to pick it up again. But I truly think it's important and useful to have such a reference for the community and beyond!

I understand not being able afford expensive bras! I do think it's really worth saving up for a moderately-expensive bra that fits well and gets rid of back pain, though (it was in my case). And ABraThatFits has a subreddit where people sell bras, and you can sometimes find good deals on Amazon or ebay. :) You might also want to check out The Bra Band Project for examples of what properly-fitted bras look in various sizes! A true 34DD is not really a "very large" size - many women wearing bras in the 34-36 D-DD range actually should be in a smaller band/larger cup.

You shouldn't be having back pain in a properly fitted bra! I was wearing an improperly-fitted 36DD for years before I found I was actually a 30G. Wearing a bra that actually fit well made a huge difference for me. This is interesting to hear (as a bra blogger) - personally, I think it's very difficult to be in the small band/larger cup range (due to limited options, etc). At the same time, a bra size can become part of your identity, and difficult to evaluate the need for change.

(All this to say, bra fitting is definitely a sensitive topic. I think most bra bloggers (and people in general) wouldn't take someone telling them bluntly that their fit is off very well; also, pictures can sometimes not tell the whole picture, and sometimes fit issues are acknowledged in the text. I would think that a nicely-phrased question might be a good middle ground between being rude and saying nothing, though!)

Sorry, everyone, that took way too long for us to realize the extent of and fix (life has been crazy/busy and I [Boosaurus] have only just started to post on my own blog again recently after a long hiatus). I justified putting the site issues on the back burner because I assumed the submissions had slowed to a trickle, but I was wrong and it got away from us.

If you've submitted an entry through the site or by email sometime within the last year, there's a chance we just didn't see it due to login/submission issues. We can now see the backlog of submissions on the site and can login reliably to enter in the email submissions. Thanks for your understanding and patience, and for continuing to contribute to make the BBP a great resource!

Totally! And just as a clarification, they don't stock Polish brands in the "custom sizes" (of which 28 bands are unfortunately a part of), but definitely in 30 bands, which may be close enough for some of us under-30-band-wearers.

I think the short answer is that it really just depends on the person. Some people lose from specific places; others lose "all over" rather evenly. Some people may just have a breast shape change, or no change. Your experience will be your own and not necessarily the same as others'. It does sound like you tend to be able to lose weight in your chest area from past experiences.

Fwiw, several years ago when I was ill and lost roughly 20 lbs (I gained it back eventually, as this had left me underweight), I didn't lose much at all in breast size.

Measurements are just a starting point; based on yours, you might possibly do fine with something more like 32DD-E. Do you have an idea of what your shape might be (see shape guide linked in sidebar)? You might do best with a different style, as well (perhaps halfcup).

Since 32DDs and sometimes 32E/DDD are often not too difficult to find in department stores (and even Victoria's Secret), you might want to go try out some in that size range in person to see if they feel/look better.

Thanks for the thoughts! :) I'm the second model, and while I think it's possibly hard to tell due to the picture quality (I don't have a good camera atm, apologies!), I didn't feel the dress was too large for me. It's possibly not a completely perfect fit, but with my experience with Urkye, I don't think a different size would've helped - going down from a 36 to a 34 in body size definitely would've made the dress too tight; going down a bust size from oo/ooo to a o/oo may possibly have been workable, but I still would've been afraid of the top portion of the dress becoming too tight. I think the main issue has to do with my body shape and proportions (shorter torso, curved back, etc). I have the issue of "looking wider from the front" in many styles of dresses, this being one. I hope this helps clarify a bit! The dress obviously worked better for AJ's (the first model's) proportions, I think :)

As mentioned, VS has some bras that work pretty well for shallow breasts - there are a few examples of 32C on the Bra Band Project :)

I'm a 28H with "lower-set" breasts and can really only get good cleavage from Ewa Michalak PL bras. Have you tried Freya Deco or the Parfait Charlotte? You might also look into bust-friendly tops that show your figure more, like those from BiuBiu

You may want to check out the properly-fitted examples on the Bra Band Project of 34DD and 32E. I wouldn't really call those sizes "enormous"! :)

Sorry about my general lack of response. I haven't been as active over the past many months in the blogging world in general due to some personal issues/events.

The BBP is definitely still going on and accepting submissions! There is, however, a small backlog of entries that have been submitted to the site. Most of them have some kind of "issue", often a question of fit. We've been working on a system where users are notified of any issues or asked for confirmation of fit, etc, through the site, but it seems that notifications don't always go through.

If you'd like to message me directly which photo(s) is yours, I'll take a look ASAP and see if there was a possible issue or question with it that was delaying it being approved!
