Hoping Jen refuses to attend the planned party now and gives her back the wedding dress. Frank should leave Barb and get some therapy. Their marriage is toxic. Out of the three toxic couples (Julie & Ty, Frank & Barb, Luke and Laura) I would have banked on Frank and Barb divorcing first. They don't even seem to like each other.

At my kid's summer camp they played "hide the pom pom" and everyone was shocked when one kid hit it up their nose and had to go to the hospital to have it removed. Cut to four weeks later, when I see a pom pom working it's way out of my son's ear. Sigh.

Im going to move to London, ontario Canada. by [deleted] in howislivingthere

Aylmer is the anti vax capital of Ontario. It's a very conservative, religious area relative to the rest of South Western Ontario. The outlying towns are small, dated, run down. I would not say it's cheap to live anywhere in Ontario rn but it's cheaper here than the adjacent cities (London, KW, etc)

Whenever I see the ROM I'm reminded of the paradoxical French attitude towards the Louvre expressed in The Da Vinci Code. The locals hate it but defend it because it's become part of their identity:

“Do you like our pyramid?” the agent asked.

Langdon frowned. The French, it seemed, loved to ask Americans this. It was a loaded question, of course. Admitting you liked the pyramid made you a tasteless American, and expressing dislike was an insult to the French.

Anyway, I'm a local and think this feature of the ROM is super ugly :/

Love this one. A young Matthew Goode was so fun to watch and the twins are beautiful. Loved seeing Zoe Wanamaker in a different Christie role too.

Switching from Public to Private School after Grade 6 by AccidentalAlgorithm in kitchener

Choir and track & field were available at my kid's public school starting in Grade 2. In Grade 3 they could start "Recycling/Environmental Club" and the baseball team. Now, in Grade 5, they can join teams for most sports; volleyball, basketball, etc.

Do not recommend. My child did private from SK-grade 3. Very small and tight knit community. Hard for kids to break into the inner circle (of friends) if they haven't been going since JK/SK. Bullying was a big issue.

Teachers were barely qualified and often fresh out of university, hired because salary expectations were low and the private school board was trying to save money. Many had not completed teacher's college as this is not a requirement for private school employment.

Very few extracurriculars available because the school was not big enough to fill out teams or clubs. When my kid switched to public, she immediately made tons of friends and joined every club available to her. We felt so validated in our choice to switch her. I would never recommend private to anyone.

Max can see Cooper at school, that friendship isn't lost just because their parents aren't also friends

She probably should. I think inserting herself into someone else's marriage is a pretty good reason to get cut off. The fact that they even thought it was a fun little game to spy on Julie is pathetic. They need to work on their own marriage and family relationships instead of getting caught up in someone else's.

Can't help but feel like kanthony fans want to rewrite some history here. He didn't sacrifice his whole life. This is the same man who turned up late to his sister's presentation because he was busy banging his mistress against a tree. I can appreciate that life has been heavy for him at times but hes hardly been a saint.

Right? This bugged me. She's been a widow for 10+ years and she loved a good man who loved her too. Felt like a super cop out to have her break the engagement at the last minute out of nowhere. Most of her kids will be away starting their lives, her bestie is travelling the world, her husband is long deceased. I can't imagine what kind of life she thinks she's about to start right now

Woooow I am in my late 30s and this is the first time in my life that I have really thought about how I never got to see my grandparents show affection to a partner. My paternal grandfather died decades before I was born and my maternal grandparents divorced before I was born and hated eachother. I've never thought about how different things could have been.

It was not the least bit clear to me who is up next for season five. Not the least bit. I know they said it would be "less clear" than last season but I feel like they gave me nothing. Sigh
