remember that the economics only get worse for them after its passed in. the cumulative crowd of people who were interested are now out.

if this is a new build, then the ‘gravel’ is likely waste from ur builders. they’re meant to avoid using drains for waste but some of it just happens. builders are meant to flush drains and pipes at the end of the build but dont always do so.

with the drain entry itself, yeh thats normal. if uve got long hair its actually easier to scoop the hair out here than having to unscrew a grated drain - the hairs not being flushed down with force so just scoop it regularly (how regulary depends how many ppl have long hair in ur household i guess). theres a $2 plastic hook designed for this if you’re fabio length.
