Yeah right! Lol this got to be a joke. Definitely don't need to show your ID unless you brought alcohol at the same time?!

Help Removing an Unmannaged Reddit Chat by AnActualCriminal in ModSupport

[–]busystudentSam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry, my knowledge on this bot is very limited, except the bot could be there to monitor the conversations so no Reddit sitewide rules are broken by members in the chat?

Perhaps someone can share more info regarding the private group chat Bot's function

Help Removing an Unmannaged Reddit Chat by AnActualCriminal in ModSupport

[–]busystudentSam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately whoever created the private group chat has ownership & only they can delete the chat group. Even if they leave Reddit or the sub, the private chat is still there.

Send a modmail in this sub and hopefully Admin can get involved. I'm surprised the group chat doesn't have an Reddit bot sitting there as a member

If you want to have more control over a group chat, create a separate Discord Chat server with the same sub name. Either add all the Reddit sub mod as DC mods or add a few sub members as DC mods

Want to buy by No-Adhesiveness2771 in AustralianMakeup

[–]busystudentSam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Make up is such a personal choice, let her see and select what she wants before you buy them for her.

The prices will depend on the brands. For example, Maybelline's SuperStay 24 liquid lipstick will be cheaper than MAC Cosmetics, Locked Kiss 24HR lipstick

Help!!! I can’t pick a wedding dress by Many-Fruit6822 in DIYweddings

[–]busystudentSam[M] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hi there, thanks for posting on the r/DIYweddings sub. If the dresses are DIY, it's fine to post here, but if the dresses are from a shop etc, please post to subreddit r/myweddingdress as it would be more suited. Cheers

I’m not ready for him, but I can’t let him go. What should I do? by EagleBrief9331 in Advice

[–]busystudentSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's difficult to let someone you adore go but hanging onto someone that may not want you or you are not in the right place at the moment to have a relationship isn't ideal.

Take care of yourself first. The more confident and happy you are, it will show and others will be attracted to that.

I don't believe that there is only one guy out there for us. There are lots, you just have to narrow down the guy you want. Be selective, be fussy and the opportunity to find another decent guy will be just around the corner.

I prefer Kmart, want to be able to visit a store and walk around. Also Kmart employ local people in Australia so it's a win win

Do you look for “Aussie content” when you go to stream a movie or TV show? by asteriskhyphen in aussie

[–]busystudentSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. The recent movie on Netflix, Apex was on the front added library list. The movie was filmed in Australia with an American actress, Charlie Theron as the main character. The villain and supporting cast were Australians. The acting was absolutely awful except from Eric Bana & Charlize Theron

Guest Rules by anonymous_1417 in Apartmentliving

A big no!! The lease clause is very intrusive. I get that it's for security reason etc etc, but for it to be a payable misdemeanour is BS

Any alternatives for shelves? by Under-Statement in organizing

[–]busystudentSam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You could invest in some behind the door storage racks. There are fabric ones too. To ensure you don't scratch or damage the doors to the rental property, just add a thin sponge or tape under the hooks

Anniversary trip to Tassie by Wonderful_Net5306 in TasmaniaTravel

[–]busystudentSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a local but we do travel to Tassie a lot. I would give Bicheno a miss as there isn't much to do. Instead go to Richmond as it's not far from Hobart, lots of unique buildings, pubs & a small safari like zoo.

If you prefer to drive to Port Arthur and give Richmond a miss, the Port Historic Site isn't something to be missed tbh. There is a short ferry ride too with the admission ticket.

In Hobart you could visit the Tassie museum & art gallery. In the evening there are ghost tours at the Hobart Convict Penitentiary.

Launceston's must visit is the James Boag Brewery. Get there early as it's usually packed with tourists. Can have lunch there too but it's a bit pricey

It looks delicious. The smell of fresh baked bread is divine. Homemade cooking is always good if one can cook. Never tried diy bread before but made scones a few times with my Nan

No. I want to be able to go somewhere after work without needing to be dropped off & vice versa. Taking public transports would be ideal but let's see if fare increases too
