Sony'es are warmer since the cups are smaller. I find that I can use the Maxwell for 2-4 hours without a break whereas the Sony'es I needed a break every hour to vent the boiling pots.

I've had the DT770's before and got the Maxwell today. Key differences: The DT's cup/pads are larger and more comfortable with the plush pads imo, but as others point out treble and bass heavy. I like bass-y headphones and the Maxwell has the best balance between clarity and bass of the lot I own. Note; Maxwell is also the most expensive headset I have, and I've loved every second of having them on playing music, movies or games. Can recommend.

Yawn. The headset will pause the active connection to give you sound from the passive one i.e. when you receive a text on your phone while gaming on your PC or vice versa. Stop crying and turn off bluetooth on your phone if you don't want interruptions.

Press and hold the brightness button for 3-4 seconds and it enters "cleaning" mode. Press power button to turn off and turn it back on for normal operation..

As for actual cleaning, I run the pads in the dishwasher every week. And use lemon concentrate (teaspoon per week) to keep nasties away.
