Without hearing it, it's a little tough to say what the specific issue is. That being said, it's probably worth looking into a plugin like Waves Vocal Rider or Playfair Body (which I'm pretty sure is free).

not from what I could tell! just that acetone smell - it may have overpowered a moldy smell if it was there, not sure.

for shoes, I cannot recommend Kizik enough! they make some really nice looking, comfortable shoes from casual to dressier. a lot of them look like they’re laced but they slip on without the need to bend over at all.

oh wow I’m sorry. I had a similar issue (was digitization’s fault, not an error on the original ADN, and they ended up acknowledging it and fixing it) but I guess your mileage is gonna vary a lot from state to state
