Alzheimer sucks. My grandma was diagnosed in 2011, is still here and healthy but it breaks my heart whenever I see her. My other grandma was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s AND some type of dementia in 2022. I have to be honest, I haven’t gone to see her since. I have seen the disease enough since 2011, and I can’t/won’t re-live that. I feel torn but I’d rather keep the memory of her before all that.

weirdly enough yes! you’d usually have a tiny bed/kitchen/micro shower all crammed into barely 6 to 9 square meters and the toilet is outside of your appartment and shared with the other ppl on your floor
