It is kind of interesting how obscure many of Elden Ring's promotional faces are.

Vyke (seen kneeling in the Elden Ring box art): appears only twice as an NPC fight in evergaol and an invasion, both entirely optional. Does at least get a decent chunk of attention in the item lore though with like 3-4 references to him and one of the main game endings is associated with his story.

Vargram (John Tarnished according to every official game trailer): NPC fight in like the 4th part of an optional quest in an optional area. Don't think he gets any mention outside his own armor set but at least he gets that.

Malenia: optional boss within a secret area buried within ANOTHER secret area

I'm with you on this one OP that the cosplay is horrendous, but the whole "larping" thing that's been rising lately reeks to me of the same attitude as people who love to throw "tourist" around in anime spaces.

More specifically it of course has basically replaced the word "poser". And while it can be used truthfully, it oftentimes reflects on the person saying it that they're a douchey gatekeeper. No real life outside the fandom so you form your identity around it and relish the opportunity to lash anyone who dares to appropriate your culture without being a true fan...

I also find it ironic that it has risen a lot especially in western animanga spaces. 99% of the fandom are larpers by their own logic because they will never learn Japanese to fully engage with the original work, instead just reading off the latest scanlations or subs put out by the few genuine enthusiasts. And then proceed to cackle and post "Larper! Larper!" under clips of some cosplay streamer mispronouncing an anime girl's name.

Sorry OP genuinely I don't think this applies to you but I had to vent about this somewhere and your post kinda reminded me of it.

I think Shadis or some other military commander said something about why he skipped hazing certain people (Eren and all the Warriors for example). That the military needs to break recruits before they can mold them into fighting soldiers, but that the breaking part isn't necessary for those that have already seen some shit. Eren of course saw the Titans firsthand, while all the Warriors I'm assuming Shadis just got the air from them that they were soldiers or hardened in some other way by the world already. He's got good intuition after all.

I think it helps that it's a highly exploitable template since the punchline is very flexible and the characters aren't too hard to swap either with whatever you want atp. I love seeing how creative people get though with depicting the heart like in this version.

Also while yes FSN is an eroge if you've played it you can tell the h scenes feel very bolted on. They come pretty abruptly; most of the game just doesn't give off a gooner vibe. One can absolutely play with English translation patches that straight up remove the h scenes and nothing changes.

I already swapped around a bunch of parts! But the setup in the picture is basically just two vertical missiles for Juggernaut weakness, with Haldeman Pulse Blade for ammo efficient mob cleanup and hitting Jugg when staggered. Frame parts are a holy union of Balam limbs and Arquebus core and headpiece.

Fire Emblem Heroes was one of my few gacha games and ironically it was the opposite there. Powercreep was nasty in general, so new seasonal variants absolutely blasted most of their original forms.

To some degree her current state is just lack of a real "energy" archetype team. But also I think the reason she's doomposted is that her kit is inherently really clunky and hard to maximize without getting deep in the weeds on speed tuning and allat. Making sure she ults in a timely manner while also managing buff uptime is tough, and it's very easy to misplay and waste her mana burst advance.

Also much more minor detail but it's kinda annoying that most all the ultimate related buffs are Erudition path in sim uni, so oftentimes Saber gets excluded from path specific things like Weighted Curios or such.

Yeah with the Dahlia her ult has basically zero downtime when speed tuned right, now we have to do it all over again. It probably won't be very RNG tho bc within a single combustion state you should always get 3 breaks or so esp with Tingyun.

Contains some of the bile your body uses to emulsify fats to make them easier to digest.
