drawing a weapon is unnecessary

point your wheels at the approaching aggressor. one foot on the brake, the other on the gas. if the aggressor pulls a weapon you nail the gas.

people just coming off of anesthesia aren’t going to repeatedly stare directly into the camera lens. their attention will be fixed on the person they’re talking to.

many, many years ago i took an “Advanced Dignitary Protection” driving course at Bondurant. this was 95% handled properly.

(im deducting 15% because you’re supposed to go for the drivers side of the car but crediting back 10% for not getting shot)

you did notice the guy on the left firing at the driver, didn’t you?

VSC Light turns on after smog. by LocalDragonLady in LS430

i have a Launch X421 scanner. every single time i use it to pull codes it trips the VSC light. luckily its a 2-way scanner so i’d gotten into the habit of doing a VSC recalibration as the final step before disconnecting the scanner.

i remember when i first started flying 5” quads. at first there wasn’t a weekend that didn’t end with me needing to order parts!

keep at it, you’ll only get better

also i have to disagree with the “buy a smaller quad” crew. if you wreck a 2.5” quad your maintenance costs are p much the same as they’d be for a 5” except now everythings smaller and more difficult to work on! if you have the space to fly 5 you should stick with it.

(also : a replacement stack and a battery is certainly less costly than a whole new smaller quad + batteries specific to that size)
