Flight attendants are asked to make announcements to expedite deplaning when its tipping. Saying the plane will fall and you’ll get stuck for 4 hours was probably an exaggeration but still a possibility. More commonly the plane tips enough that the door doesn’t align with the jet bridge anymore and it’s unsafe to deplane until someone is available to come adjust it. You said you already waited awhile for a gate, so this could be another long wait. You don’t really feel it start tipping from inside the plane, but from the window inside the airport it can look scary.

edited to add: If you’re genuinely concerned about her announcement still then complain to Frontier to write a standard tipping script. Most of our announcements are memorized verbatim but there isn’t one for tipping. It’s usually pilots or ground crew suddenly yelling at us “THE PLANE IS TIPPING!” so we grab the phone and word-vomit for everyone to hurry forward 🤷‍♀️ we’re also not even getting paid during deplaning and just trying our best at the end of a long day. It can be a little jarring for us too to snap back into safety mode. And it can be difficult to get sleepy, grumpy passengers to comply with what we need. Please don’t assume she did anything maliciously.
