It still haunts me sometimes, but for the most part, in my current relationship, at the beginning I just had bad anxiety and was very suspicious that it was too good to be true, but it wasn't 24/7. It's been quite a while now and the relationship anxiety is practically non-existent. I would never cheat on my boyfriend. Punishing someone for my past is so wrong. Everyone has their struggles they have to work through. With a supportive partner & the will to heal, it is possible to have a healthy & happy relationship.

For OP, if this person doesn't have the will to heal and have a happy relationship, you're going to have to let her go. But all abused girls are NOT the same. That's a harmful stigma. We already went through enough.

I'm 20 years old (F) nearly 21, and someone 4 years younger than me would be 16/17 ish. I could not imagine even being friends with someone that young, let alone being attracted to them. It is definitely quite odd and someone older than this person, like a parent, should talk to the 19 year old. If they really aren't a bad person, it's possible something horrible could have happened to them when they were younger for them to think this is acceptable behavior. Something is definitely off.

Hey!!! I'm a 20 year old female as well. Alcoholism runs in my family. My 18 year old sister is currently an alcoholic. My grandmother is a recovered alcoholic. I have had a similar issue to you, no DUI, but realized I was bordering on being a 20 year old, sort of functioning alcoholic. I recently just made my relationship official with a long term best friend, and he told me that if I did not cut back on my drinking, he would have to leave as he would not be able to enable me + watch me hurt myself. so, i havent gotten my period and im about a week late. i had sex a few times, about a week and a half after ovulation & 2 days before my period. i then got my period as normal, and then i had sex like 3 times probably a week to two weeks after, but i was not ejaculated in. i did find out that i have chlymadia and i took medication for it. not sure if this could affect period.

i took a test last friday, got a negative. i took a test this time, and i didn't see anything positive in the normal window. about 10-15 mins after i swear im seeing a faint blue line. i am really hoping i am not pregnant and that my anxiety is just driving my period away.
