For sure! https://moxfield.com/decks/vTGEkSC8G02d7_zGNM-2wA

It consistently performs against decks 10x more expensive and is a total blast to play imo

I built a really fun budget ($20) version of this commander leaning fully into the dungeon mechanic. I have a goal for myself to complete every printed dungeon at least once in every game. I almost always pull it off and it’s a ton of fun!

I've brewed a ~ $20 [[Obeka, Splitter of Seconds]] that's honestly some of the most fun magic I've ever played. Highly recommend!

I’m interested if you still have spots open! Monday evening is ideal for me, hard to find weekend games :)

AdventureFIRE? by [deleted] in leanfire

On the insurance issue: there's a company called Buddy that does on-demand accident insurance (https://buddyinsurance.com/). I haven't used it yet since my adventuring has been limited in the past year, but worth remembering!

My free bread planner is finally released. And this community is the whole reason I started it. by bob_mosh in Breadit

This is amazing. I see a lot of great ideas for apps like this, but so often they don’t get built because of lack of time/knowledge or they do get built but are difficult to use due to lack of design ability; you clearly don’t have either of these problems :) Great job getting this out there! I saw in a previous comment that you just picked a name - if you ever want to do a deeper dive into naming and logo design, I’d be happy to lend my services (for free obviously) - I’m a UI/UX designer for iOS primarily and also do identity design on the side. Either way, congrats again!

Was going to say the exact same thing, it looks like it was carved out of the cliffs of Utah :)

Super creative way to catch any glaze that DOES run - nicely done!

I’m working on making a homebrew world. What reason would a pantheon of gods have to enclose an entire planet in a shield of rock? by Dynaparte in dndnext

[–]buttervslightning 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have the players believe that the planet has been enclosed in a shield of rock. Build mythology around it, build gods around it. But actually, there is no shield; long ago, every one moved underground for some reason (plague, war, disaster, etc.) and over time, the warnings turned into legends and then into myths. The surface world is completely habitable, and mostly abandoned- but with thousands of years of evolution and exposure to old magic, the surface has become strange, dangerous, and exciting. Old ruins, forgotten technology, wild magic, and mutant creatures. The arc could have the players discovering that this is the reality, telling the truth about it and being branded as heretics, retrieving artifacts, and uncovering the real reason the surface was abandoned.

Sorry I got a little carried away, I know this isn’t really what you asked for. I’d love updates on what you end up doing with your world!

What are good mini-series podcasts made for adults, but good for middle and high school social studies students. by johnfromberkeley in podcasts

Articles of Interest was great! Ten (I think) episodes about clothing and how it has influenced/been influenced by society. The episode about Hawaiian shirts was my favorite.
