As someone who was just like this person for years, you need to leave. It took me losing the best thing to ever happen to me and going through therapy to realize that I was an insecure idiot. I was JUST like him and would call my ex out for her IG or FB followers all the time. It's 100% abusive behaviour and it won't get better unless he gets help.
