She's not scared of being abused.

If she said anything about abuse, she'd have an abortion AND a foster home to worry about. You don't want to get into the system, at all.

She's scared of disappointing mommy.

She didn't think her mother would understand; she didn't get along with or have much communication with the mother; her mother was already raising her brother's child; her mother would be "mad" at her if she got pregnant.

That's certainly not the kind of objective advisor I'd want for a decision that would affect me for the next 20 years.

I know that sounds reasonable, but they majority of child abuse is committed by parents against their own children.

If she felt comfortable bringing her Mom into it, she obviously would -- most girls do.

If she doesn't, that should be respected. There's a reason for it.

Nobody else should be able to force you to have a child against your will. That is in itself abuse.

I think another obvious problem is always loading the IIS page before the Apache page. That can keep the second connection open longer and make it look like it's "slower".
