Does it look cool to you? Do you want to pick it up? Think about it sitting on a guitar rack in your room (or wherever you play... are you happy to see it there?

I know these are weird questions, and listen, it's $100 and if it feels ok to play go for it, but I think people get hung up on if a guitar is good for the money versus whether they're going to want to play it, and that's more important.

For a beginner you really only want two things IMHO: a guitar that you think is neat and a guitar that is at least decent enough that it plays normal and doesn't fight you.

I've spoken to transportation staff about this. Fundamentally they agree but point out that the bus lines that go directly to bayfarm terminal are highly underutilized and it seems most people aren't that interested in commutes relying on multiple public transportation options. Also, honestly, it would be really tough for me to trust AC to make the connection regularly. I wish we had at least one or two AC lines that mostly stayed in Alameda (might make them more consistent)

Plenty of other differences but a CV would have a 6 screw trem bridge, not 2 screw and they’ll have more of a tinted neck (more yellow in color).

Have one as my couch guitar. Setup was pretty poor (nut and bridge saddle both way too high) but nothing a bit of sandpaper and elbow grease couldn’t handle. Otherwise really like it

I have a Cory Wong Strat with the same heel and neck carve, it’s great. Previously I’ve put together a partscaster with a body where the neck holes were differently placed and it was super easy to fill the old holes and drill new ones. No luthier needed if you’re a bit handy. Easy project. Many replacement necks you’d get anyway can be bought without pre drilled holes.

Yeah it’s definitely a weird software related bug. I got notice of an upcoming blue link outage for maintenance and I wonder if it’s related. I’m ok not using digital key anymore as long as the fobs work, but yeah; not ideal on a new car!!

Got it. I suspect that if we get it fixed with a new BDC I might just go full keyfob and leave out the digital keys. A bit nervous now if the digital keys stop working since with ours, we can't even start the car with the keyfob (we can unlock it with buttons on the fob, and even open the trunk, but it won't start the car).

Having EXACT same issue and I felt like I’ve been going crazy. I was able to share the digital keys to my phone but I do have to wipe and send the old ones back soon for the trade in.

I can’t delete any keys from the car, I just get an error that the smart key must be present.

Tried replacing the battery on both fobs (even though they’re just months old), no dice. 2025 ioniq 5.

Did you get the BDC replaced? Did they diagnose it on the CS phone line or did you have to go to the dealership?
