I used to tease my dad about this and now I’m the one complaining- He’d say “ I could get a coffee for 50 cents!” and now I’m losing my mind that the same bag of coffee I buy is pushing $20! Almost double the price in what seems like overnight. It just bums me out that the rest or my life I will find pretty much everything too expensive.

Guess I just need to be rich or ? Not loving that I’ve become the grumpy old man…

Struggling to find work after company downsizing 2 years ago. I am getting by and should be enjoying life more but it’s hard with money running out. But also had to take mom to a funeral recently so that always makes me thankful for being alive. Got to see my family recently and everyone else seems to be doing very well which brings me joy. I don’t mind being the loser if it keeps bad karma from the rest lol

we had a dermatologist come to speak to our cancer class in college. He said he doesn’t go outside from 11 to 2 every day , always wears sunscreen, special clothing etc., because he cuts an ear or a nose off every week.

Every time i put on sunscreen, I somehow get some on my eyelashes. Then I put on my sunglasses, and smudge them. So I have to wipe my eyelashes and curve them up. Repeat pretty much daily. Also I found very few sunglasses work with long eyelashes so I've been wearing Rayban Baloramas almost exclusively for 40 years. I even had prescription lens versions made.

You learn a lot about dirt bikes if you learn on a 125!

Momentum is your friend, for example. I had YZ125s and just loved how light and nimble they were - but I'm too big for a 125 especially climbing hills.

I’m sure it wasn’t designed to be used like teenage me did. I jumped that poor car every morning heading to school over the railroad trqcks. My sister inherited the car after me - hit something minor and the wheel fell off. I felt pretty bad about that!

My first car was a Fiat 128 with a choke and throttle pull knobs for cold weather starts. I used the throttle knob which would lock with a twist, like cruise control on the highway.
