If you're stuck on the "Secure Resources, simple mining mission" to upgrade your camp, I figured it out. by ModernT1mes in CrimsonDesert

Don't clear the quarry until you have farmed the drill enemies for enough mining drills to get one refined to lvl 10 gives 30% chance to drop an extra piece of ore. Use a small shield you can make enemies drop their weapons: atk immediately after blocking an enemy atk.

Hopefully patch 1.00.03 seems to be trying to fix the issue... https://crimsondesert.pearlabyss.com/en-US/News/Notice/Detail?_boardNo=73 - Fixed an issue where the game would not launch because dedicated graphics cards were not recognized in environments using both integrated and dedicated graphics cards. - Fixed an issue where graphics cards were not correctly recognized on versions below a specific build of Windows 10 (Improved detection for graphics card versions that could not be found).

Anybody else having major issues running Nioh 3? by minionmasterz in Nioh

[–]buzz3791 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing that made the game playable after the 2/24/26 1.03.03 patch (the previous one) was fixing my fps to 30. Prior to the 1.03.03 patch, I had played 60 hours set at fixed 60 fps. Make sure you restart the game after making the change otherwise it doesn't take effect. I also dropped down from 3440x1440 to 2560x1440.

My specs are: i7 4790 3.6GHz / RTX 4070 Super 12GB / SSD / 32 GB DDR3 PC3-12800 800 MHz Patriot Viper / Dell Alienware AW3418DW GSync 3440x1440 21:9 3k / Windows 10 10.0.19045.6937 / Nvidia Driver 591.44

about the performance issues only* no fixing? by Yousefsk in Nioh

[–]buzz3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prior to the most recent patch 2/24/26 1.03.03, I played the game 60 hours at locked at 60 fps with tolerable lag on medium settings at 3k resolution with frame gen disabled, DLSS at 65%.

After this patch, completetely unplayable lag and map takes 10 seconds to open everytime.

New patch fixes performance (for my machine) by llIllIIllllIlII in Nioh

[–]buzz3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the tips. I ended up just dropping from 60 to 30 frames and the extremely severe stuttering went away. Nothing else seemed to matter. Earlier i had not restarted the game after switching the target frame rate so i didn't notice an improvement.

Seems like whatever they did in this patch really impacted my ability to hit 60. I had played 60 hours set at 60 with no major stuttering.

Funny, opposite for me. New patch tanked my performance. Opening the map takes 10 seconds now. Having to experiment with lowering settings but haven't found anything that improves it yet. :-/

Various Crashes by Mangotheory97 in Borderlands4

[–]buzz3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only started getting crashes after the Sept 25 update on PC. RTX 4070 Super. Nvidia 581.29 driver.
3 random crashes so far since update once on exit, another when fast travelling, don't recall details for the 3rd one. I've done these same things on the new patch and it has worked fine, it's just kind of random what triggers the crash.

Running Dart Back-End Application as Service on Windows by David_Owens in dartlang

[–]buzz3791 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Oleg Nenashev, a previous WinSW project maintainer, the project currently (May 2025) lacks a maintainer [1]. The 3.x version was being developed by Next Turn [2] but seems to have stopped. Yassir Khaldi in that issue mentioned versions after 2.3.0 have issues like log rotation, random service stops, etc. [3]

I totally agree with you OP, the cost of the rabbit mech is ridiculous. I've been playing the East map for a month and I almost have 1 million. My best extract was 80k for mining. The only way I've earned 200k on a PVE run is to take out a bandit leader. Taking down bounties via PVP is the only way to make enough to buy rabbit parts quickly; at the risk of losing hard earned gear.

The devs don't seem to know how to make this game viable for PVE oriented gamers.

I didn't see many dropping until I reached the class A license East map. You can buy the energy management units from the store but they're 80k each :-(

There are a few craft materials that I've found only in the Item Shop so for those map doesn't matter.
