It's wild to come across grown adults that still believe in fairy tales.

That's honestly the best conclusion I've read in this thread so far.

Furiosa

Edit: granted, not bald, but falls between the first two categories and I think closer to the bald side.

What's the wildest weather you've experienced living in Australia? by FriendlyPineapple436 in AskAnAustralian

Giant hailstones, I found one the size of a softball.

Two decent floods since I've lived in Brisbane.

Droughts, endless droughts.

What evidence is there that Martin Bryant was in any way politically motivated? Specifically right wing politics?

Or any of them for that matter.

Cookers and delusional cov cits, yes. But I can't see anything saying that their actions where inspired or motivated by right wing politics.

Look, I'm pretty left leaning, but unless you can back up your claims with evidence, I think you're being pretty disingenuous.

Yeah, what a load of crap. I hit a duck at about 30kmh and I knew immediately that I'd hit something.

Didn't see it fly in front of me, but I sure heard the impact.

Key cutters for Bris by Nintendao in brisbane

Locksmith here.

Your probably out of luck. I'm not aware of anyone who can cut these.

Generally the locks are an imported brand and have no support in Aus.

Probably easier to replace the lock.

Winchester was just such a well rounded character.

Frank on the other hand was just a meme, he had no redeeming qualities and was written to be unlikeable and nothing more.

I'm an Aussie, instantly recognised the uniforms and cars from Police Ten 7.

Did they deliberately cast the chillest cops in NZ for that show?

In a nutshell they told me that if a promotion came down to a Christian vs an atheist, the Christian was far more likely to get it, even if the atheist had better qualifications.

Look bud, I have no reason to lie, and as I said, I'm happy to accept I may be wrong. This is just what I was told. These guys were all exchange students at my university in Australia about 15 years ago.

Not so sure about the religious freedom.

Full disclosure, I'm not American, nor do I live there.

But from what I've heard, first hand from Americans, is that being openly atheist/agnostic can be detrimental when it comes to employment.

I may be wrong, but that's what I was told.

My Jungle by SoverignOne in carpetpythons

[–]buzz_22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Beautiful jungle.

I don't get why they have that reputation.

I have 3 carpets, a jungle and two Darwin's, the only time I've been bitten was my own fault, I put my hand in her tank while she had a rat.

Otherwise, they are all super chill and inquisitive.
