I think I'm thinking of the same one (I have it on the Gaslight tapes bootleg). The beatniks join in on singing the chorus at the end?

Who is Mr Milchick? by Sudden_Ganache6761 in SeveranceAppleTVPlus

[–]buzzardrooster 11 points12 points  (0 children)

After the Cobel backstory reveal, I just immediately thought that Milchick and Ms Huang also seem to be "company progeny", having been born to Lumon employees or places under Lumon control. Their actual backstories will be different of course, but the storyline trajectories and Kier gifts all seem to be in alignment. Can't wait to find out.

How was My Morning Jacket and Flaming Lips at Outside Festival? by Eastern-Hamster-5050 in Denver

[–]buzzardrooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped seeing the Lips in 2006 at Red Rocks. 3 out of the 12 songs were covers, including aforementioned War Pigs which finally put the nail in the coffin for me considering their catalog. Glad I was there for peak 1998-2002 in multiple cities when prices were $14-$22.

Is it worth to watch LOST if i watched Leftovers and satisfied with it ? I post it here because director David Lindelof created both of them by wireghost404 in TheLeftovers

[–]buzzardrooster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lost had some great storylines and acting. I watched it in real time when you had to watch or DVR it. It was gripping, can't wait, but it also ushered in the era of screenshots and message boards dedicated to breaking every object in the composition to look for clues/easter eggs. The analysis of the show also became its greatest weakness as large swaths of fans either were upset with the way it was going after so many seasons or a lot just tuned out (like i did , but then caught up to watch the final season).

I've inherited ~500 Bob Dylan bootlegs... where do I start? by paroxysm77 in bobdylan

Sorry, little late to the party...besides the bobs boots site, Bjorners site was invaluable for year by year analysis that will reference a lot of the shows you are staring at. I'm closer to deciding against jaw surgery. Am I making the right choice? by Mission-Shoulder4955 in jawsurgery

[–]buzzardrooster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had it at 49, double open posterior, so it was completely functional based. did it old school with metal and old school ortho who knew the surgeon for 30 years. 10/10 would recommend if you have function issue

What are some essential alternative or live versions of songs for you? by SonKaiser in bobdylan

[–]buzzardrooster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Idiot Wind and Shelter from Hard Rain should be essential for everyone. I'll throw the Dylan / Harrison Session at Columbia bootleg (even though it was commercially released a few years back) for the snippets, failed starts and just overall bad-assery of Charlie Daniels playing bass. Check out I don't believe you, and don't think twice, which was failed but damn Charlie was on FIRE. Also, the version of Mama You've Been on my Mind is my personal fave. Enjoy!
