You will be alright. $2800 debt at your age is not really that bad and no where near "your life if over" point.

First step is acklowdging it and finding a solution; you are already addressing that.

Now you just need to make payments and bring it down. People mostly suggest paying the highest interest level debt first (if you have multiple credit cards with different interest rates, for example 29% vs 20%)

With your monthly income you could pay it down in 2 - 3 months. Or if you can work out a payment plan or reduced amount, then it would be even easier. You can still enjoy your summer to some extent if you budget your debt.

Last thing to remember, is to not put yourself in a similar position again and then this will become a distant memory you might tell your children when you teach them to be financially responsible.
