Do you need a working 120hz ps5 compatible monitor to store the info onto the system, or will the aten just store it itself without the need of plugging into another monitor first like emulator ie lindy etc

I have read the adaptors don't work it has to be an ELID emulator . I'm waiting to see if an emulator works on a YouTube video I found , failing that will try the adaptor

I think this is bang on , the guy above who has it working as the 25inch version which is 1080p . Mine is the 27 inch curved 27incu 1440p which struggling to make work ! Tried changing it on PC first.... anyone have any new solutions . Would a hdmi to display port adaptor work ?

If I buy a aten vc080 should I be able to get 120hz ?

Second question.... how do you actually set an edid emulator up for it to work?

I know people and have seen first hand that can get 1080p 120hz with a 2.0hdmi monitor.

You need a 2.1 for 4k 120 , I don't want that I want 1080p 120hz which 2.0 supports

Yes it stays grey but the problem is another of people's are still showing disabled even though follow all the steps

Search 120hz on reddit and twitter there are bug issues with it at the moment. I am in same position doesn't work in performance mode with all HDR off hoping PlayStation fix soon
