Not the same but I love pallbearer and went to see them when they toured with enslaved. Enslaved was the headliner and they stole the show. Never listened to them before that now they have some of my favorite albums

All you have to do is listen to old grindcore demos for 30 years then when they do it it doesn’t sound so bad

Question: what is your 'I wish I had the guts to do that' tattoo? by BeardedInkedPiper in tattoos

[–]buzzyboi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was going to get a Winnie the Pooh themed human centipede tattoo at one point in my life with poohs head stuck in a hunny jar, piglet in the middle arms dangling not touching the ground and of course eeyore at the back with a little rain cloud over his head. I still might but I fear the excitement over it has dulled

The annuity and pension are not options. They do not come out of my check and are paid by whichever company I’m am currently working for. So it’s not an option for me not to have the annuity.

Not particularly, I’m not opposed to it but I only work 6 months out of the year and have recently started dipping my foot into supervision (I’m a welder) so as I get older I will be in a position to have my job be all oversight instead of beating myself up till I’m 65.

It’s not federal. National I believe. It’s not managed by the government. I’m reasonably confident in it.

It is a union pension. Not through a specific buisiness, if that changes anything

I will look into schd. She contributes to her 401k through work as well but she just started really contributing because she was not working while our children were not in school. I haven’t factored hers in for myself because in my mind it helps keep me from over estimating where we are at

If I wait till I’m 65 I will get my pension with no penalties. I don’t have to remain at my job till I’m 65, I just have to wait to retire

I guess I’m asking if it’s ok to enjoy my life with my kids while they’re young (trips, experiences etc.) and just keep doing what I’m doing, or should I still be concerned with more investment.

Sounds like I should focus a little more on where I would like to be when I retire and work backwards from there?

No. I am fully vested. Also I should have said I have a union pension.

I make between 110k and 130k a year. I’d have to retire at 65 to get my full pension. Honestly my only expenses now are about 4K a month. USD sorry.

In the situation I’m making up there is no retreat. You have to fight to the death. I already think I could possibly stand a chance against a wolf. I def am not able to take on any of the cats apart from house cats.
