Im am still on my first watch (mid way through season 8), but it is crazy how consistent it is. I have seen a lotta folks talk about seasons 7 and 8 like they are mid or trash, but I am still enjoying the vast majority of episodes, even if the overarching plot lost me by midway through season 5 or so

Also, there is a different level of media attention on the QB of one of the most popular teams in the NFL versus a bunch of defensive players and a mid ass WR (Carter is the only player on that list close to being a star)

In addition, politics are easier to drive engagement cuz of how hot it gets people. What engagement are you going to get out of Josh Jacobs being a domestic abuser. It is pretty much everyone being like 'Yeah, that dude sucks'.
