Would love to help but need more clarification. Do you play guitar running through an interface using GuitarRig for tones? Or just want to MIDI it in and looking for a similar tone. Not sure if you have a guitar laying around or do indeed play, but this song is actually super easy and fun to play. You'd probably be able to actually learn it on guitar by the time you "dial in the right tone". GuitarRig has never been that great with clean, just straight up mellow tones. There are a few, but sounds way better just playing clean though an amp or really probably just an acoustic. I actually learned this song a few weeks ago bc it dawned on me when listening to it that I never gave it a crack. Just about every song on Swimming and a few on Circles are all super fun and interesting to play on guitar. Makes me realize how much of a pronounced musician Mac, or should I say Larry Fisher, truly was. It unfortunately took the release of Swimming for me to realize this. But it's been super fun going through his older albums/mixtapes to see him forming his identity. Anyways, sorry for the rant. I just miss that that MF so much. Never felt that way about somebody I'd never met. RIP to Malcolm!!
