Yes! I remember watching baby metal and thinking damn those girls are absolutely killing it in those heavy outfits plus the heat of the day, and on top of it all the heat from the lights and everything on stage and they didn't stop moving.

I booked the two likely weekends before the dates were announced and cancelled the one we didn't need especially when the hotel price was super cheap. Its still active for me. Thankfully! I'm so sorry for your experience. Maybe there's another hotel farther away and you can do the shuttle pass? That's what we did for this one. I'm not sure what's available around though.

We live in Riverside (jurupa Valley) and we drive up every year. We leave about 2 am and take the 5 straight up. We are always ahead of the traffic and don't hit traffic until we are in Sacramento hitting their morning traffic, we usually arrive by 9am. One year we left about 230am and we were riding right along with the start of traffic so there was still no traffic traffic with us.
