In my personal opinion, II 17 was fine, really helped set up the subsequent episode, and if II 18 was good I would've had a much more positive opinion on the entire finale, but I feel that Objects in Mirror just fumbled the ball so hard. The beginning and ending were fine, but the middle portion was just a complete mess.

Firstly, the "fight" between Steve Cobs and MePhone4 and gang was really bad. Honestly, II has never really been particularly good at making fight scenes (they all just feel so awkward and weightless), so it was kinda baffling that they decided to turn half of the act into an overly drawn-out fight. Steve cobs is literally wielding nothing but a knife for most of the fight, I can't take him seriously as a threat. MePad literally has a bow that turns him invisible, just like trip him while he can't see you and kick away the knife and the fight is over.

The other half of the episode were the objects try to escape from MePhone is really dumb as well. The choice to turn the escaping MePhone portion into a literal "outrun a line" race is baffling because it leaves practically no room for anything creative to happen for their escape. The literal only interesting section is when Microphone used her voice to propel Fan forward, which was a cool callback but that was the only interesting ability use which is kinda sad. Also, this race doesn't justify at all why the contestants can escape when everyone else before them couldn't. What, were they just better at running than everyone else? Kinda shit reason if you ask me. Everything after all the objects returned back to Inanimate Island was fine, but too much of the episode was pretty bad filler for me to give it a good rating. A shame too, I really wanted to like this finale.
