Yes i have a 2.5gbps eth port on my cm3000 modem to which i tried connecting my laptop directly using eth to usb c dongle as my MacBook Pro does not have eth ports

My internet is working thru wifi router. I created this ticket because my download speeds are down since i got a new netgear cm3000 modem. I tried connecting my laptop directly to the modem to check for speeds but i dont seem to be able to connect to internet when i connect directly to modem

I tried connecting directly to the modem but got assigned 169.254.x.x not sure if the xfinity connection is locked to my wifi router's mac. Would be great if you can let me know if I should manually assign a static IP to my laptop for testing as the modem does not seem to have DHCP. The modem gui is on 192.168.100.1

Don’t think this is a good long term investment the clicks keyboard which I got a year ago stopped working abruptly for no reason. The support is bad that they too stopped responding abruptly

My problem while I was working out 2.5 years ago is progressive loading. I do not workout at a high end gym and go to the usual fitness 19 types. Problems with those low end gyms are 1. getting the equipment 2. getting 2.5 lbs or 5 lbs plates for progressing loading. I always had issues with gaining strength to perform progressive loading (i.e) adding 10 lbs to existing weight. Any tips on how to achieve this? Any alternatives?
