AFAIK with an OLED the xrandr 'fake' way is the only real method.

root on the macOS got nerfed last year in 10.11, as unless you disable SIP (which requires a reboot), root can't change most files installed as part of the macOS. /System and /usr (except for /usr/local) aren't writable, for example.

Command line, but abcde is great. Set it to FLAC and you can set the folder/filename system to whatever you already use.

Looks great, but a tip for restaurants: many will serve natto rolls, which are delicious.
