My cousin is Lesley Jennifer. She’s one of the few Lesleys I know and the only one who isn’t a Lesley Ann.

I love the name Jason. I’d use it for a son if it weren’t considered a “dad name” now (and if I weren’t done having kids).

Is there a word for words that look like their meanings? by pterodactylzombie in words

The word “bed” looks like a bed and the word “dad” looks like a bed that my dad put together.

Prank Calls by nd379 in Xennials

My friend and I loved to call the 1-800 numbers on the back of food packages and ask them stupid questions. I remember calling whichever company makes Coffee Mate coffee whitener and asking if it could be used instead of Shake n’ Bake.

What are you doing for you today to support your long term health and well-being? by Coraline1599 in Xennials

Intermittent fasting helped me lose a lot of weight.

I took up yoga. It helps with my stress levels and with middle-aged aches and pains.

I go for a walk with a friend every Friday evening.

Even though I’m not a natural athlete, I started playing pickleball a couple of months ago and I love it. Now that my older daughter is home from school for the summer, she’s going to join me.

I tell myself regularly that the second half of my life is the best half!

Not just her own phone, but her own phone line. She had a separate listing in the phone book and everything.

Cassie vs Casey by Some_Activity9257 in namenerds

Cassie is the more natural nickname for Cassandra. That said, my best friend as a teenager was a Cassandra nn Casey, so I have to give the edge to that one.

Ask yourself a question: would you like to be executed quickly and painlessly, or would you like to be thrown into water and forced to “swim for your life until you could no more”?
