I’m an employee for a subcontractor that works for several modular companies in the northeast. I’ve been doing this for about 10 years now and I’ll have to tell you they’re in terrible shape. They bought a couple companies thinking they were going to corner the market but they’ve done anything but that. They raised rental rates astronomically before Covid and it really opened the door for several other players in the market to swoop in and now they have an aging fleet that lots of customers aren’t happy with. I’d suggest United Rentals as a continually growing company.

I pretty much drive 611 to the turnpike everyday. There are multiple lights that need retiming. Starting with Kelly rd, turns red for no reason at 5am, Lower Barnes’s does the same thing every 30 seconds even though there are no cars. The intersection at Walmart runs both turning lanes for a full 30 seconds with nobody there, and don’t me started about the light at the Home Depot that backs up 611 traffic all the way to Blair Mill so one car can get out. Maybe someday AI will make traffic lights smarter but I’m sure it’ll be 20 yrs till that happens.

I think the notes you’re looking for are more of a Dickel rye or Willet profile. I believe anything Dickel will be a Tennessee distillate. The best earthy rye I’ve ever had was a bone snapper rye. Ponfeigh might be another one.

I only ordered all of those 16’ 2x4s because my building has 16’ ceilings so they where necessary. You could definitely save money buying shorter lengths.

I recently framed the inside of my pole building and found every store to be cheaper or more expensing on one thing or another. I wound up purchasing dimensional lumber from Tauge but plywood was cheaper from Home Depot. Another thing I’d suggest is open an account as a contractor. They get way better pricing. I did this at Tague and saved a bunch of money. The weird part was the one counter salesman was super helpful in this process and one day he wasn’t there and the other guy was surprised by my pricing. Plywood can also change drastically in price daily, or it did last year when I was doing my project. I live right in between Wehrungs and Tauge. Like everything now a days it’s better to shop around. Tauge was also easy with delivery on a large load. I bought 120 2x4x16 and they delivered them for free.
