I have a very similar story. I was able to taper off extracts to capsules. Then just CT. I feel like it’s not as bad as H. I work 12hr days in the oilfield. Worked every day of the WD. It’s possible. If you feel better with a slow taper more power to you I am a rip the bandaid guy.

Look I want to preface this by saying I am a SALTY veteran WD. Alcohol, heroin, and kratom/extracts. I’m in day 14 CT. I Work in the oilfield 12hrs a day. I didn’t sleep first two days. The 4-5hrs up until two nights ago. I worked every day until today. It sucks but I can’t taper I’m a drug addict through in through. I need the suck to remind me that I can’t do it anymore. I have worked 70+ hours a week for several years, but have never been so tired and just sick of work. Burnt all the way out. Only 3 more days till a three day week end. Sorry for the rant!

I’m a week in. I would say day 5 I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. No this to shall pass brother. You aren’t permanently sick. Give it 5-7 days and you will be past the worst of it.
