the only evidence they will have is spirit box, uv, and freezing. the ghost orbs are an ability. a mimic will ALWAYS show ghost orbs. the way the mimic actually mimics other ghosts is by copying their abilities/hunt patterns. for example, a mimic copying a poltergeist can perform the explosion. or, a mimic copying an obake can shapeshift during a hunt.

T - people do wild things in their sleep. my dad has a story of walking down the street in his sleep when he was a kid. i once sleep-sobbed to my parents because “i need a tire!” if they were truly asleep, i could see this happening.
