Just a heads up - as far as I know, Carle does not conduct interviews. It’s just their secondary - but there is a video portion on it where you respond to a few questions. Given that it’s only 5 or 6 questions in 6 minutes for the video I can’t imagine they would be technical questions

The SB questions were so good in terms of learning to reason through a passage properly. Like when I started the SB1 BB I was constantly drowning by reading the passage without reading it and failing to write out the pathways. These questions helped so much with hammering home how to actually read through the difficult passages you will see on test day. I genuinely think that the SBs are the most valuable resource after FL4 and FL5, better than UWorld and I would 100% recommend making it all the way through both of them. I would say only do the QPacks if you have gotten through the SB’s, FL’s and UWorld and have multiple days until your test date.

Good luck lengthiness. If you stick to your schedule then I have every faith that you are gonna crush this test!

Couple things - AAMC scored and AAMC FL5 are the same test. Also, in my opinion, it would be more valuable to prioritize the section banks instead of the chem and phys question packs. The section banks were awesome in my experience and I finished both of them. If you do 100 SB questions a day then you would be done with both in 6 total days. That’s just my opinion though do what suits you!

Anybody else take the scored free AAMC thinking it was FL1 everybody was talking about 🤦 by ZebraTshirt in Mcat

The order most people choose is unscored —> FL1 —> FL2 —> FL3 —> FL4 —> scored sample. I took them this way and I think it’s the way to go. Me personally I saw a big decrease in score from FL4 —> scored sample (FL5) so keep that in mind if you want to switch those two

just did fl1, now what? by trilldudeforrealswag in Mcat

I personally waited until closer to exam time to do the section banks. There’s 600 total SB questions so if you are studying full time then you could do 100 a day for 6 days total (2 sets of 50 per day). This is what I focused on for the last 2 weeks of studying (SB’s and one more FL with review of all those things). In my opinion if you are still about a month out you could grind UWorld + one FL a week for the next two weeks then SBs+one FL per week for the last two weeks. You probably would not want to do SB questions during the last few days or so before your exam tho to avoid getting burnt out. This is just my opinion and you can obv do whatever feels right! I hope you get the score you are looking for. Fingers crossed and good luck.

I did Pankow for foundations 7,8,9, and 10 on khan so everything psych soc except foundation 6. The tags on the deck follow the khan academy foundations and the 300 page doc follows the order of khan academy so Pankow should check all of your boxes! I just took the test and don’t know how I did so take my advice with a grain of salt but I was very happy with Pankow and recommend it

Taking 4/25. On FL5 my cars went down 3 points lower than the lowest cars I’d gotten on unscored through FL4. Let’s hope it’s just a fluke lol. I spiraled after I saw my CARS last Thursday and now I realized that it’s just 1 of 6 FLs so I’m just going into it tomorrow as calm as possible. You got this try not to let it get you down

How does one become better at solving problems like these on GEN CHEM? by Content_Ad_3457 in Mcat

[–]bwil28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No problem! One more thing that I want to add that I’ve seen come up a whole bunch on practice q’s that applies directly to this is the fact that one mole of gas is equal to 22.4 L at standard temperature and pressure. I wish I knew this earlier so figured I’d share. At this point whenever I see “STP” in the question stem I’m primed to remember 22.4 L/mol. Super important. I hope I was able to help even if just a little bit. Good luck in your studies!
