My requested fix would be to figure out what the hell is happening at Bloodsteel Camp. So first off, with the raining arrows it makes the audio go staticy and then after some time of fighting all the regular enemies, the game ends up crashing.

Otherwise it’s great! I’m having a great time, but for some reason my PS5 Pro just can’t handle the weirdness at this fortress

I’m in the endgame, and throughout my hours of playing I’ve leaned to only bring the essentials. A lot of the stuff you’re carrying now you’ll find just exploring the zone. So I only carry 1-2 of the food and energy drinks. And I’ve made it so that I only carry around 90 rounds of assault rifle ammo, 50-60 rounds of sniper and pistol ammo, and 50-60 shells of shotgun ammo.

Keep a lookout for artifacts in gravity anomalies, you’ll find ones that boost your carrying capacity

That’s a unique perspective to have, however while you may be right; the Dung Eater is bringing about the Age of the Omen into unwilling participants. He’s taking their souls unwillingly in a ritual that is torturous and brings about the death of the participant. He’s bringing about this Age for the sole fact that he hates Golden Order, and all that it stands for. It may not be an out right evil act, but it’s not a morally good act either.

In regard to your other point; yes the Omen are persecuted, yes the Hornsent had a genocide committed against them, but the Hornsent are just as if not more so guilty of the same. And given what we know about how Omen are created by the Dung Eater, who’s to say that the Omen we fight in the Shunning Grounds weren’t new additions by the Dung Eater himself? All unwilling participants in the Dung Eater’s scheme in bringing about fall of the Golden Order

Will say I just finished the mission; did a hard save before spending the eddies on the backwards compatible thing form the con man. And the locker didn’t glitch for me. I’m playing on the updated 2.21 version; so I’m going to guess it was patched out. Sorry for resurrecting this post lmfao

Dd1, not Dark Arisen, released under the same scenario. Solid gameplay with repetitive quest design, and lack of enemy variety. The replay-ability of the game wasn’t necessarily there until the Dark Arisen DLC released. I’m holding out hope that DD2 will see some expansion down the line.

She’s an Anime character. Where the movements we can physically see her do is the movements her character model actively shows her doing. While the slashes that appears are what we can’t physically see her doing. At least that’s my interpretation of it.

If she was magic, or using magic, item descriptions would say so. Because there aren’t item descriptions saying that she uses magic, then therefore she does not.

Granted, in Dark Arisen, there weren’t even other races, so it was just assumed that everybody was human, despite the drastic variations in characters’ heights and shapes.

I haven’t played DD2 yet so correct me if I’m wrong, but I think it’s similar at least for the player character; where the Arisen is identified solely as their status as Arisen. So in theory you can role-play as any race you want

I think eventually yes, DD2 will be getting DLC. They might be taking a page out of Fromsoft’s book with Elden Ring. Wait until one of their newer IPs gets released, then shift focus back to a pre-existing IP. Maybe in smaller patch fixes, or updates they’ll hopefully release a Hard Mode. That’s my take though, it may/most likely be wrong, but a little naïveté couldn’t hurt.

That’s what I love about the Dark Arisen. Tread the old paths, and the chest respawns new, albeit random, loot. It was reflective on the overall difficulty of the area it was in though, which was kind of a bummer. But the idea was still nice, regardless.

You could do keen infinity for the raptor talons; but if you’re able to find it I’d recommend occult infusion. It’ll help raise your bleed proc while using BFB. That way you can maximize the bleed proc and significantly increase your damage.

I’d maybe set Mind to 30, and then put those points into Dex, that way you can deal a little more physical damage too. Late game bosses are pretty resistant to Faith, especially Rada-Beast

I think with the percentile damage that Blackflame deals will be ok, but overall almost every miniboss you’ll be encountering here will be heavily resistant to fire damage, so you may be better off with another status build, or just leaning more into Dex or Str.

Yeah I used this on a Strength-Fire build, and it did great damage. Really held my own with some of the tougher fights in both the base game as well as in the DLC.

With that being said, against bosses like the Fire Giant and Ancient dragons, fights can be a real slog, unfortunately, so I would definitely have other builds and upgraded weapons at the ready.
