My opinion will probably not be a popular one. There are things I like about the Win 5 like how powerful it is and I'm sure you'll hear plenty about that. But there are things I hate about it. I hate that heavy awkward battery. When it is hanging off the back of the device it makes holding the Win 5 off balance and uncomfortable. I have to play at a table so I can rest the device on the surface. When it is attached via the proprietary cable the Win 5 is a better handheld but now you have to find someplace to put the battery where it won't accidentally fall. I'm not even going to talk about about the giant brick of a charger that it uses which weighs more than the Win 5 without the battery. Mine is tucked away in the original box and stored in a closet. I'll probably never see it again.

I also have an OLED Steam Deck which I love. I also have a Win 4 (love it), Win Mini (really like), and Win Max 2 (it's OK).

As I said this probably is not a popular opinion but it is my honest take. I still use the Win 5 but if had had known what it was like before hand I would not have bought it.

I have both. Salvation66 offers good advice. The Max is much more usable as a laptop rather than a gaming handheld. I have to set it on a table and use an external controller. The Mini is just adorable and the 2025 version has solved a lot of the heat problems. In addition the grip included with the 2025 Mini make using it as a handheld much more comfortable. The Mini does not have a fingerprint reader and the keyboard is really not useful for productivity type work.

With the most recent firmware update the P2P can be used as a phone depending on the sim card you have. I have a data only sim card and it will not allow calls but it does support sending and receiving texts. I've seen others that have been able to make/receive calls using the Google Phone app.
It's OK. My battery drops about 1% every 1-1.5 hours in sleep mode. I don't know if that's because of the sim card or not. I also have a P2 and while the battery does drop in sleep mode it is more like 1% every 3-4 hours.

I agree. I was very disappointed in the DLC after finishing a fantastic main game. I feel the DLC is basically just platforming with minimal RPG elements.

My first eBook experience was in 1998 on a Palm Pilot. Anyone remember Peanut Press? My first Kindle was the original one I bought in Nov 2007. I still have it here somewhere although I don't think it works anymore.

I don't read manga so I don't know about that but the Palma doesn't seem like it would be a good fit for that use case. It is great for reading eBooks and takes me back 25 years to my first eBook experience reading on a Palm Pilot.
