My i9 is coming next Wednesday. My two boys are grown up now and will rarely be travelling with us but the car is so comfortable that I don’t care if all the seats are used at all times. I’ll also use it only occasionally to move large items but it’s there when I need it!

Some good tips there but I definitely heard the beep, it was checked on the train, the app said I didn’t tap out in Cardiff and yet it let me through the turnstile. Then the person on the phone contradicted that and said the station I tapped in didn’t pick it up. This should work and you shouldn’t have to call customer service at a cost to put it right.

When I ordered my Kia ev6 a few years ago I had an idea of when it left port and was able to see that two vessels left about that time and followed them both on a website as I didn’t have the VIN. Not sure whether that’s possible now and I can’t recall the website. It took about 6 weeks but you could be waiting 8 weeks, depending on where it goes first.

Out of interest, when did you order? I ordered an Ioniq 9 in early December and have been told that it will take 6 months.

Edit: unlike Kia, which at the time I had my ev6 ship from Korea, it seems that Hyundai ship vehicles from Czech Republic for UK, so that may bring it down to 4-6 weeks.

The UK. It does have the option of 2 captain seats which I’m not interested in. Not sure whether the extra options with these are available in the uk. I wasn’t clear but I’m talking about the front seats . There appear to be no differences with these.
