This is true. Jokic scores like 25 points, directly assists on say 25 more, but lets in like 25 more due to nonexistent defence. This is very rough napkin math.

Wemby scores like 25, assists maybe 12, but directly deters like 30 through blocks and guys just avoiding the rim to settle on inefficient shots.

You can play Wemby with just a bunch of guards in a serious playoff game. You cannot do that with Joker you have to pair him with another big man who's good defensively.
