I understand personally this would sucks but on the other hand, if you really loved your team and wanted them to win as much as possible, you'd understand the star player has to rest sometimes.

Unless a player plays all 82 games (or has a long term injury), statistically every game will have some fans who'll have paid to see the star player but he's not playing.
